Live auctions

Rural auctions, live online

Bid on livestock and farm machinery across Australia. Watch the clock, place your bid, win the lot. Live countdowns, anti-snipe, and bidding open to verified accounts.

  • Livestock & machinery Cattle, sheep, tractors, trucks and gear, sold under the hammer.
  • Live bidding + anti-snipe A late bid pushes the finish out, so a sale never closes mid war.
  • Verified bidders Bidding and creating auctions is limited to verified accounts.

How it works

Bidding on O.N.O Rural, explained

How do online auctions work on O.N.O Rural?

Each auction has a starting bid, a bid increment and a finish time. Sign in as a verified buyer, place a bid above the current price, and watch the live countdown. When the timer runs out the highest bid over the reserve wins the lot.

What is anti-snipe?

If a bid lands in the last two minutes, the finish time automatically pushes out a little so nobody can win by sniping in the final second. Bidding keeps going until the stock stops selling, then the clock runs down.

What is a reserve?

A hidden minimum the seller is willing to accept. The bid ladder shows whether the reserve has been met. If bidding closes below it, the lot passes in and the seller can follow up with the top bidder.

Who can bid or sell at auction?

Bidding and creating auctions are open to verified accounts with a location set on their profile, so every bid on the ladder shows a real town and state. Verify your account from your profile to take part.
